Optimum’s West London data centre in Hayes is designed to a Tier III+ level of resilience and was originally built for an international bank. Located within an established trading estate in west London, Optimum Hayes sits on a site of 2.4 acres, fully enclosed by security fencing, with two access points through vehicle locks and on-site parking for 43 cars. The data centre building provides 50,000 sq ft of net technical space together with offices available for customer use.
The site also offers industry-leading security with palisade fencing, full CCTV coverage, vehicle locks, entrance gatehouse and 24/7 on-site security. Internally the building is enclosed with bomb blast walling and covered by extensive CCTV and zoned access control, which is all monitored from the central security office. Optimum’s own on-site Facilities Management team is also available on a 24/7 basis to provide both reactive and planned maintenance.
